.... if I could only believe

My wonderful wife mentioned this song earlier today and I just had to re-listen to it. I'd always known that the song was about Eric Clapton losing his young son, the raw emotion can be felt in the song, yet I hadn't thought about it until Sara mentioned it.

    Hi Ben, I tried to comment the other day but I don't think it worked. I was drawn to your blog because of the dragonflies. They are very special for me too and I have similar experiences with them. :) Thankyou for sharing Olivia's story. I'm so sorry. She is very beautiful and gosh she really did look right at you, sizing you up!

    This song gets me everytime. You can tell when a songwriter/singer 'gets it'
